Professional guitar setup & repair
Fret & Nut is the Somerset workshop of Galloup-trained luthier Andy Wakefield Hann. Setups, fretwork, nuts, saddles and electrical repairs for acoustic and electric instruments, done by hand.

Fret dressing, partial and complete refrets using an Erlewine Neck Jig for accurate, stable fret and fingerboard work.

Why Fret & Nut
Andy Wakefield Hann left a corporate career to study guitar making and repair full-time at the Galloup School in Michigan, completing the intensive six-month Masters Course. Fret & Nut has been his workshop since 2019.

Call or email to arrange a visit. The workshop is open by appointment at Flax Drayton Farm, just south of the A303 near South Petherton.
Easy to reach: about half a mile south of the A303. Roughly 5 miles from Crewkerne and Ilminster, 10 miles from Yeovil and 16 miles from Taunton. The workshop is the third door on the left as you enter the farmyard.
